EXCLUSIVE: Vera Farmiga Talks Source Code




Opening in theaters on April 1st is the new techno-thriller from acclaimed director Duncan Jones (Moon) called Source Code. The film stars Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain), as well as Michelle Monaghan (Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang), Jeffrey Wright (Quantum of Solace), and Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air). We recently had a chance to speak with actress Vera Farmiga about the new film, her role, the cast and working with director Duncan Jones. When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the Source Code, a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

Source Code comes to theaters April 1st, 2011 and stars Vera Farmiga, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Jeffrey Wright, Russell Peters, Cas Anvar, Craig Thomas, James A. Woods. The film is directed by Duncan Jones.
