Paramount Pictures has released two new TV spots for Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which opens in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on June 29.

In Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon comes to theaters June 29th, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

The Dark Knight Rises Adds Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, and Joey King

Yesterday we reported that the highly-anticipated superhero tale The Dark Knight Rises recently started production, although no new cast members were revealed. Today we have news that Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, and Joey King have joined the cast.

No details were given about which characters this new trio of actors will portray. Christian Bale reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, while Morgan Freeman is back as Lucius Fox, Gary Oldman is playing Commissioner Gordon, and Michael Caine plays the noble butler Alfred once again. Newcomers to the franchise include Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.

Christopher Nolan is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with his brother, Jonathan Nolan. The Dark Knight Rises will be an international production, with shooting set to take place in Pittsburgh, New York, Los Angeles, London, and India.

The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

Hot News: Thor End Credits Scene Was Directed by Joss Whedon

Marvel Studios' latest adventure Thor follows the studio's long tradition of featuring a brief scene after the end credits have rolled. While this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who follows these superhero tales, it might surprise you to learn who directed the end credit scene in Thor. Actor Stellan Skarsgård, who plays Erik Selvig in the movie, said that The Avengers director Joss Whedon directed the end credit scene, and not Thor director Kenneth Branagh. Here's what the actor had to say below.

"That was just a couple of months ago and I was happy to meet Sam (L. Jackson) again. I flew over there and went into a basement and talked to Sam for a couple of minutes and went home. That was with Joss Whedon, who's doing The Avengers."

The actor was coy about how his character will turn up in The Avengers, though.

"I know what's going to happen to my character in that film, but I'm not allowed to say anything. I'll have to sell my house to pay the fines for that."
