Robert Redford is in early talks to join the Man vs Nature film by J.C. Chandor, All Is Lost.
The story is described as a man vs. nature drama that takes place on the water. The actor would play the lead character, Jeremiah Johnson, featuring a man surviving the elements all by himself. J.C. Chandor will be directing the film with Zachary Quinto producing.
A Baja Film Studios in Mexico has been scouted for shooting with production possibly beginning next May.
