Writer Max Landis has signed on write the second installment to Fox's sci-fi film, Chronicle.
The original stars Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell and Michael B. Jordan and follows three high school friends who gain superpowers but find their lives going out of control and friendships tested as they explore the dark side. It grossed more than $ 105 million at the box office worldwide since Fox released it in February.
The writer has been very busy lately writing Amnesty, a pitch from the writer that Ron Howard is set to direct, and an untitled adventure pic for Disney.
This project is still in development.
Chronicle was released February 3rd, 2012 and stars Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell, Michael B. Jordan, Michael Kelly, Ashley Hinshaw, Bo Petersen, Anna Wood, Rudi Malcolm. The film is directed by Josh Trank.
