Warner Bros. Wants a Wonder Woman Movie or TV Show

Warner Bros.' Kevin Tsujihara wants a Wonder Woman movie or TV show

Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara attended a Beverly Hills entertainment law conference over the weekend, where he talked more about the studio's superhero movie plans. Aside from The Dark Knight and Man of Steel franchises, the CEO revealed that their lack of other superhero franchises has been a "missed opportunity." He also teased one particular project that he wants to see moving forward.

"We need to get Wonder Woman on the big screen or TV."

The studio's Wonder Woman project has been in development for several years. However, we also reported last month that a casting call for Batman Vs. Superman may indicate that Diana of Themyscira has a role in this highly-anticipated sequel. The CW Network is also developing a Wonder Woman series entitled Amazon, although we reported in July that project has been put on hold.

Kevin Tsujihara also teased that they are working on more TV adaptations of DC Comics properties.

"(There are) huge plans for a number of other DC properties on TV."

The DC universe is already represented on the small screen with The CW's Arrow, which returns for Season 2 Wednesday, October 9. We reported in July that the series may spawn a spin-off centering on The Flash. We reported last month that Grant Gustin is playing the speedy Dr. Barry Allen, who will appear in three Season 2 episodes, including the back-door pilot.

Wonder Woman is in development .
