The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Dane DeHaan plays Harry Osborn, the longtime friend of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) who becomes Spider-Man's enemy. Here's what he had to say about his character's arc throughout the sequel.

"There's not many movies where you start off as a seemingly normal guy and by the end you're a full-blown monster. You get to fall in love with Harry before he becomes the villain and then you get to watch his demise."

The actor had to wear a 50-pound suit when he transforms into the Green Goblin, which had to be constantly cooled down on the set, with crew members pouring ice water down the suit, which would reach up to 110 degrees during production.

"The heat of it definitely made me feel a little crazy, which probably in the end helped out a bit."

Godzilla

Godzilla director Gareth Edwards revealed he sees his title character as an aging warrior who is the last of his kind.

"He's an ancient warrior who's the last of his kind, and his kind has long since died out. He lives a very solitary lonely existence and he's very happy to keep away from everyone, but we keep doing things to force him to return and put things right."

The filmmaker revealed that he and his team watched hundreds of videos featuring animals fighting, to determine how Godzilla would move in this big-budget blockbuster.

"There's a reason they narrate all those National Geographic shows It's very hard to follow nature when you're just a spectator. When he was doing his thing, we dialed some more personality and made him a lot more human than we thought we would."

How to Train Your Dragon 2

Jay Baruchel, who voices Hiccup in this DreamWorks Animation sequel, the dragon rider who he describes as "an atom bomb of happiness," as he returns for an all new adventure in this sequel. When asked about what makes Hiccup special as a character, the voice actor had this to say.

"For me, he's this great symbol of what it is to be somebody who marches to the beat of their own drum."

The story is set five years after 2010's How to Train Your Dragon, with the voice actor revealing that the story revolves around Hiccup trying to determine his identity.

"(The story is about) finding a way to balance who he wants to be, who he needs to be and who his family expects him to be."

He also befriends another dragon rider named Valka (voiced by Cate Blanchett), who he has "an estranged familial connection" with. The voice actor also teased that Hiccup's relationship with his dragon Toothless will evolve as well.

"By the end of it, they're stronger and more connected than they've ever been."

All Is by My Side

John Ridley, who won an Oscar for writing 12 Years a Slave, makes his directorial debut with All Is by My Side, a biopic centering on the life of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, portrayed by André Benjamin. Instead of spanning his entire life, the filmmaker revealed why he decided to focus the biopic on one pivotal year in Jimi Hendrix's life, between 1966 and 1967 where he went from backup guitarist to a major musical star.

"We did not want to do a Vegas lounge-act impersonation of Jimi Hendrix. He understood the beauty in being observant, and (Benjamin) actually does that - be thoughtful, be introspective, and then be an extrovert the moment he has a guitar in his hand."

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Peter Cullen returns to voice Optimus Prime in Transformers: Age of Extinction, and the actor spoke about how the character has hasn't changed since he originally provided the voice in the 1980s animated TV series.

"He is exactly who he was from the very original concept. I've always felt a hero should have the qualities that are inspiring and helpful and fatherly and at the same time (be) courageous. I don't see those character traits changing at all."

The sequel is also a family affair, with his son Clay Cullen working as a stunt performer and his brother Larry Cullen, who died in 2011, serving as the voice actor's inspiration for Optimus Prime.

"Though Larry's gone, he lives on in my mind as Optimus Prime because he was my hero."

Jupiter Ascending

Eddie Redmayne plays the villainous Balem Abrasax in this sci-fi adventure, who literally owns all of Earth, as he puts a bounty on the head of Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), the rightful heir to the planet, a fate she learns about from bounty hunter Caine (Channing Tatum). When asked about his character, Eddie Redmayne revealed Balem has a Shakespearean quality to him.

"It's almost Shakespearean really, with interfamily bickering and them trying to usurp each other's power. Then you throw Mila into the mix and it all becomes quite chaotic."

Guardians of the Galaxy

Former Doctor Who star Karen Gillan plays the villainous Nebula in this Marvel Phase Two adventure, whom the actress describes as "unapologetically so mean."

"She gets such an enjoyment from what she does, and what she does is so bad."

The actress had to shave her head to play this ally of Thanos, who chases after a mystical orb held by Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt). She also spoke about how changing her physical appearance helped her get into character.

"It really, really helps to change so drastically physically. It did half the job for me. I feel like people were slightly more intimidated by me. She completely has a reason for being a sadist, but that may not be apparent to everybody else."

Lucy

Scarlett Johansson stars as the title character in director Luc Besson's thriller, which is his most thoughtful and immersive film to date, following a woman who gets the ability to utilize her mind and body's full potential. The director revealed that Lucy isn't a superhero, although she does possess superhuman abilities.

"She's just someone who has access to the deepest part of her cerebral capacity. What we call humanity is like 10% of the brain, and she's going to reach 100%. So her travel through these experiences is really something."

The director added that it's both cerebral and entertaining at the same time.

"It isn't a documentary about the brain. It's a lot of fun. You have food for your heart and your brain at the same time."

The Expendables 3

Sylvester Stallone returns as Barney Ross in this highly-anticipated action sequel, where his mercenaries team up with a younger group of tech-savvy soldiers. Terry Crews, who returns as Hale Caesar, revealed that there aren't any action stars in movies these days.

"There are no action stars anymore. That era is gone, and it just brings it back to what movies have been all about for years since the days of John Wayne."

The actor revealed that his co-star Sylvester Stallone is "bigger" than the movie itself.

"Sly is bigger than the movie. People tend to be like, 'OK, you've had your fill, you've done your thing,' and they want to push him out to pasture. And Sly refuses to go. That's a beautiful thing. He's a force of nature."
