'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Extended TV Spots Unleash All-New Footage

Two new extended international TV spots for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes take a different approach to the story than the final domestic trailer released last week. Tons of new footage reveals how Caesar came to rule his ape army, building a community for his fellow chimpanzees, orangutans and gorillas. Watch as a species evolves into something new, becoming the dominant living force on planet earth. The apes learn to read, write and ride horses while mastering the art of automatic weapons.

It's a dangerous new age for the apes, as they strive to survive in peace, but soon the last few remaining human survivors are encroaching on their territory, looking to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Will Ape and Man be able to come to some kind of understanding? Or is war inevitable? Check out the latest from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes before it hits theaters this July.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes comes to theaters July 11th, 2014 and stars Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Judy Greer, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo. The film is directed by Matt Reeves.
