Official 'Victor Frankenstein' and 'Gods of Egypt' Synopses Released


The official plot descriptions have been released today for 20th Century Fox's Victor Frankenstein (formerly known as Frankenstein) and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Summit Entertainment's Gods of Egypt and Universal's Untitled Pets Project. Take a look at the official synopses below for these upcoming projects.

Victor Frankenstein - January 16, 2015

James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley's classic 19th century novel. Told from Igor's perspective, we see the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man-and the legend-we know today.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - July 31, 2015

From director Tim Burton and based upon the best-selling novel, comes an unforgettable, thrilling and haunting tale. Sixteen-year-old Jacob follows clues that take him to a mysterious island where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive.

Gods of Egypt - February 12, 2016

Magic, monsters, gods and madness reign throughout the palaces and pyramids of the Nile River Valley in this action-adventure inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt. With the survival of mankind hanging in the balance, an unexpected hero takes a thrilling journey to save the world and rescue his true love. Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, has usurped Egypt's throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. Untitled Pets Project - Febuary 12, 2016

For one bustling Manhattan apartment building, the real day starts after the folks on two legs leave for work and school. That's when the pets of every stripe, fur, and feather begin their own nine-to-five routine: hanging out with each other, trading humiliating stories about their owners or auditioning adorable looks to get better snacks. The buildings top dog, Max (voiced by Louis C.K.) a quick witted terrier rescue who's convinced he sits at the center of his owner's universe, finds his pampered life rocked when she brings home Duke (Eric Stonestreet), a sloppy, massive mess of a mongrel with zero interpersonal skills. When this reluctant canine due find themselves out on the mean streets pf New York, they have to set aside their differences and unite against a fluffy-yet cunning bunny named Snowball (Kevin Hart), who's building an army of ex-pets abandoned by their owners and out to turn the tables on humanity...all before dinner time.

Victor Frankenstein comes to theaters October 2nd, 2015 and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Jessica Brown Findlay, James McAvoy, Andrew Scott, Freddie Fox, Bronson Webb, Adrian Schiller, Valene Kane. The film is directed by Paul McGuigan.

Gods of Egypt comes to theaters February 12th, 2016 and stars Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Geoffrey Rush, Brenton Thwaites, Courtney Eaton, Elodie Yung. The film is directed by Alex Proyas.
